Teleconference on CMI-5 – the new standard for courseware integration

On Wednesday, February 23rd at 10:00 AM (Eastern time) a teleconference with the Advanced Distributed Learning Laboratory (ADL) and the Aviation Industry CBT Committee (AICC) will be held that introduces the details of the latest standard for courseware communication, CMI-5. The new standard incorporates advances in CMI architecture proposed from multiple organizations into one coherent standard. The goal of the new standard is to simplify and update CMI standards to reflect changes in technology and content distribution practice and to provide a user-definable set of data elements and the option to manage content sequencing by the administrative system. The teleconference is open to the public and there is no charge for joining. For details on joining the meeting, please visit http://www.aicc.org/.
